Choreography Competition

​The Choreographics is held in Term 2 of each year and is a great opportunity for our students to choreograph their own dances. Dances can be solos, duos, trios or groups in the styles of Classical Ballet, HipHop, Jazz, Tap or Contemporary. We encourage all students to participate in the Choreographics as it is such a fun and great experience.

Medals/Ribbons are awarded to placegetters and a Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding choreographer of the day.

Examinations

​TAP @ Dundas offers exams in Classical Ballet (Cecchetti Method) and Hip Hop, Tap & Kinder Ballet (ATOD Method) in Terms 2 & 3.

Examinations are an exciting and rewarding experience for students. Examinations are conducted in a group situation and the Examiner is professional, encouraging and friendly. Children who participate in exams each year gain confidence and learn important life skills such as learning to concentrate in an exam environment which will assist with their school examinations and other similar situations. They also give the students a goal to work towards and an opportunity to receive an independent assessment of how they are progressing technically.

Annual Performance

​Concert is held at the end of Term 4 each year.

Concert is the most exciting part of the year for all our students with fun dances and beautiful costumes. It is a great opportunity for us to showcase all our talent, hard work and dedication to family and friends.

A professional photographer comes in and takes individual and group photos of our students in all their different costumes for parents to purchase as a great memento.

​

Our concert will be professionally videoed and available on USB so you can watch and share our greatest moments with family and friends forever.
